At-Takaathur

Alhakumu alttakathuru

Alhākumu At-Takāthuru

The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God)

Hatta zurtumu almaqabira

Ĥattá Zurtumu Al-Maqābira

until you come to the graves

Kalla sawfa taAAlamoona

Kallā Sawfa Ta`lamūna

You shall know

Thumma kalla sawfa taAAlamoona

Thumma Kallā Sawfa Ta`lamūna

You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds)

Kalla law taAAlamoona AAilma alyaqeeni

Kallā Law Ta`lamūna `Ilma Al-Yaqīni

You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt

Latarawunna aljaheema

Latarawunna Al-Jaĥīma

You will be shown hell

Thumma latarawunnaha AAayna alyaqeeni

Thumma Latarawunnahā `Ayna Al-Yaqīni

and you will see it with your own eyes

Thumma latusalunna yawmaithin AAani alnnaAAeemi

Thumma Latus'alunna Yawma'idhin `Ani An-Na`īmi

Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God)
