Al-Hujuraat

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tuqaddimoo bayna yadayi Allahi warasoolihi waittaqoo Allaha inna Allaha sameeAAun AAaleemun

Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tuqaddimū Bayna Yadayi Allāhi Wa Rasūlihi Wa Attaqū Allāha 'Inna Allāha Samī`un `Alīmun

O you who believe! be not forward in the presence of Allah and His Apostle, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is Hearing, Knowing

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tarfaAAoo aswatakum fawqa sawti alnnabiyyi wala tajharoo lahu bialqawli kajahri baAAdikum libaAAdin an tahbata aAAmalukum waantum la tashAAuroona

Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tarfa`ū 'Aşwātakum Fawqa Şawti An-Nabīyi Wa Lā Tajharū Lahu Bil-Qawli Kajahri Ba`đikum Liba`đin 'An Taĥbaţa 'A`mālukum Wa 'Antum Lā Tash`urūna

O you who believe! do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet, and do not speak loud to him as you speak loud to one another, lest your deeds became null while you do not perceive

Inna allatheena yaghuddoona aswatahum AAinda rasooli Allahi olaika allatheena imtahana Allahu quloobahum lilttaqwa lahum maghfiratun waajrun AAatheemun

Inna Al-Ladhīna Yaghuđđūna 'Aşwātahum `Inda Rasūli Allāhi 'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Amtaĥana Allāhu Qulūbahum Lilttaqwá Lahum Maghfiratun Wa 'Ajrun `Ažīmun

Surely those who lower their voices before Allah's Apostle are they whose hearts Allah has proved for guarding (against evil); they shall have forgiveness and a great reward

Inna allatheena yunadoonaka min warai alhujurati aktharuhum la yaAAqiloona

Inna Al-Ladhīna Yunādūnaka Min Warā'i Al-Ĥujurāti 'Aktharuhum Lā Ya`qilūna

(As for) those who call out to you from behind the private chambers, surely most of them do not understand

Walaw annahum sabaroo hatta takhruja ilayhim lakana khayran lahum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun

Wa Law 'Annahum Şabarū Ĥattá Takhruja 'Ilayhim Lakāna Khayrāan Lahum Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun

And if they wait patiently until you come out to them, it would certainly be better for them, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo in jaakum fasiqun binabain fatabayyanoo an tuseeboo qawman bijahalatin fatusbihoo AAala ma faAAaltum nadimeena

Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'In Jā'akum Fāsiqun Binaba'iin Fatabayyanū 'An Tuşībū Qawmāan Bijahālatin Fatuşbiĥū `Alá Mā Fa`altum Nādimīna

O you who believe! if an evil-doer comes to you with a report, look carefully into it, lest you harm a people in ignorance, then be sorry for what you have done

WaiAAlamoo anna feekum rasoola Allahi law yuteeAAukum fee katheerin mina alamri laAAanittum walakinna Allaha habbaba ilaykumu aleemana wazayyanahu fee quloobikum wakarraha ilaykumu alkufra waalfusooqa waalAAisyana olaika humu alrrashidoona

Wa A`lamū 'Anna Fīkum Rasūla Allāhi Law Yuţī`ukum Fī Kathīrin Mina Al-'Amri La`anittum Wa Lakinna Allāha Ĥabbaba 'Ilaykumu Al-'Īmāna Wa Zayyanahu Fī Qulūbikum Wa Karraha 'Ilaykumu Al-Kufra Wa Al-Fusūqa Wa Al-`Işyāna 'Ūlā'ika Humu Ar-Rāshidūna

And know that among you is Allah's Apostle; should he obey you in many a matter, you would surely fall into distress, but Allah has endeared the faith to you and has made it seemly in your hearts, and He has made hateful to you unbelief and transgression and disobedience; these it is that are the followers of a right way

Fadlan mina Allahi waniAAmatan waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun

Fađlāan Mina Allāhi Wa Ni`matan Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Ĥakīmun

By grace from Allah and as a favor; and Allah is Knowing, Wise

Wain taifatani mina almumineena iqtataloo faaslihoo baynahuma fain baghat ihdahuma AAala alokhra faqatiloo allatee tabghee hatta tafeea ila amri Allahi fain faat faaslihoo baynahuma bialAAadli waaqsitoo inna Allaha yuhibbu almuqsiteena

Wa 'In Ţā'ifatāni Mina Al-Mu'uminīna Aqtatalū Fa'aşliĥū Baynahumā Fa'in Baghat 'Iĥdāhumā `Alá Al-'Ukhrá Faqātilū Allatī Tabghī Ĥattá Tafī'a 'Ilá 'Amri Allāhi Fa'in Fā'at Fa'aşliĥū Baynahumā Bil-`Adli Wa 'Aqsiţū 'Inna Allāha Yuĥibbu Al-Muqsiţīna

And if two parties of the believers quarrel, make peace between them; but if one of them acts wrongfully towards the other, fight that which acts wrongfully until it returns to Allah's command; then if it returns, make peace between them with justice and act equitably; surely Allah loves those who act equitably

Innama almuminoona ikhwatun faaslihoo bayna akhawaykum waittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum turhamoona

Innamā Al-Mu'uminūna 'Ikhwatun Fa'aşliĥū Bayna 'Akhawaykum Wa Attaqū Allāha La`allakum Turĥamūna

The believers are but brethren, therefore make peace between your brethren and be careful of (your duty to) Allah that mercy may be had on you

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la yaskhar qawmun min qawmin AAasa an yakoonoo khayran minhum wala nisaon min nisain AAasa an yakunna khayran minhunna wala talmizoo anfusakum wala tanabazoo bialalqabi bisa alismu alfusooqu baAAda aleemani waman lam yatub faolaika humu alththalimoona

Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Yaskhar Qawmun Min Qawmin `Asá 'An Yakūnū Khayrāan Minhum Wa Lā Nisā'un Min Nisā'in `Asá 'An Yakunna Khayrāan Minhunna Wa Lā Talmizū 'Anfusakum Wa Lā Tanābazū Bil-'Alqābi Bi'sa Al-Aismu Al-Fusūqu Ba`da Al-'Īmāni Wa Man Lam Yatub Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Až-Žālimūna

O you who believe! let not (one) people laugh at (another) people perchance they may be better than they, nor let women (laugh) at (other) women, perchance they may be better than they; and do not find fault with your own people nor call one another by nicknames; evil is a bad name after faith, and whoever does not turn, these it is that are the unjust

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ijtaniboo katheeran mina alththanni inna baAAda alththanni ithmun wala tajassasoo wala yaghtab baAAdukum baAAdan ayuhibbu ahadukum an yakula lahma akheehi maytan fakarihtumoohu waittaqoo Allaha inna Allaha tawwabun raheemun

Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Ajtanibū Kathīrāan Mina Až-Žanni 'Inna Ba`đa Až-Žanni 'Ithmun Wa Lā Tajassasū Wa Lā Yaghtab Ba`đukum Ba`đāan 'Ayuĥibbu 'Aĥadukum 'An Ya'kula Laĥma 'Akhīhi Maytāan Fakarihtumūhu Wa Attaqū Allāha 'Inna Allāha Tawwābun Raĥīmun

O you who believe! avoid most of suspicion, for surely suspicion in some cases is a sin, and do not spy nor let some of you backbite others. Does one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? But you abhor it; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, surely Allah is Oft-returning (to mercy), Merciful

Ya ayyuha alnnasu inna khalaqnakum min thakarin waontha wajaAAalnakum shuAAooban waqabaila litaAAarafoo inna akramakum AAinda Allahi atqakum inna Allaha AAaleemun khabeerun

Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu 'Innā Khalaqnākum Min Dhakarin Wa 'Unthá Wa Ja`alnākum Shu`ūbāan Wa Qabā'ila Lita`ārafū 'Inna 'Akramakum `Inda Allāhi 'Atqākum 'Inna Allāha `Alīmun Khabīrun

O you men! surely We have created you of a male and a female, and made you tribes and families that you may know each other; surely the most honorable of you with Allah is the one among you most careful (of his duty); surely Allah is Knowing, Aware

Qalati alaAArabu amanna qul lam tuminoo walakin qooloo aslamna walamma yadkhuli aleemanu fee quloobikum wain tuteeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu la yalitkum min aAAmalikum shayan inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

Qālati Al-'A`rābu 'Āmannā Qul Lam Tu'uminū Wa Lakin Qūlū 'Aslamnā Wa Lammā Yadkhuli Al-'Īmānu Fī Qulūbikum Wa 'In Tuţī`ū Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Lā Yalitkum Min 'A`mālikum Shay'āan 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun

The dwellers of the desert say: We believe. Say: You do not believe but say, We submit; and faith has not yet entered into your hearts; and if you obey Allah and His Apostle, He will not diminish aught of your deeds; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful

Innama almuminoona allatheena amanoo biAllahi warasoolihi thumma lam yartaboo wajahadoo biamwalihim waanfusihim fee sabeeli Allahi olaika humu alssadiqoona

Innamā Al-Mu'uminūna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Billāhi Wa Rasūlihi Thumma Lam Yartābū Wa Jāhadū Bi'amwālihim Wa 'Anfusihim Fī Sabīli Allāhi 'Ūlā'ika Humu Aş-Şādiqūna

The believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Apostle then they doubt not and struggle hard with their wealth and their lives in the way of Allah; they are the truthful ones

Qul atuAAallimoona Allaha bideenikum waAllahu yaAAlamu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi waAllahu bikulli shayin AAaleemun

Qul 'Atu`allimūna Allāha Bidīnikum Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Allāhu Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun

Say: Do you apprise Allah of your religion, and Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth; and Allah is Cognizant of all things

Yamunnoona AAalayka an aslamoo qul la tamunnoo AAalayya islamakum bali Allahu yamunnu AAalaykum an hadakum lileemani in kuntum sadiqeena

Yamunnūna `Alayka 'An 'Aslamū Qul Lā Tamunnū `Alayya 'Islāmakum Bali Allāhu Yamunnu `Alaykum 'An Hadākum Lil'īmāni 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna

They think that they lay you under an obligation by becoming Muslims. Say: Lay me not under obligation by your Islam: rather Allah lays you under an obligation by guiding you to the faith if you are truthful

Inna Allaha yaAAlamu ghayba alssamawati waalardi waAllahu baseerun bima taAAmaloona

Inna Allāha Ya`lamu Ghayba As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Allāhu Başīrun Bimā Ta`malūna

Surely Allah knows the unseen things of the heavens and the earth; and Allah sees what you do
