As-Saff

Sabbaha lillahi ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu

Sabbaĥa Lillāhi Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu

Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth declares the glory of Allah; and He is the Mighty, the Wise

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo lima taqooloona ma la tafAAaloona

Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āamanū Lima Taqūlūna Mā Lā Taf`alūna

O you who believe! why do you say that which you do not do

Kabura maqtan AAinda Allahi an taqooloo ma la tafAAaloona

Kabura Maqtāan `Inda Allāhi 'An Taqūlū Mā Lā Taf`alūna

It is most hateful to Allah that you should say that which you do not do

Inna Allaha yuhibbu allatheena yuqatiloona fee sabeelihi saffan kaannahum bunyanun marsoosun

Inna Allāha Yuĥibbu Al-Ladhīna Yuqātilūna Fī Sabīlihi Şaffāan Ka'annahum Bunyānun Marşūşun

Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way in ranks as if they were a firm and compact wall

Waith qala moosa liqawmihi ya qawmi lima tuthoonanee waqad taAAlamoona annee rasoolu Allahi ilaykum falamma zaghoo azagha Allahu quloobahum waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena

Wa 'Idh Qāla Mūsá Liqawmihi Yā Qawmi Lima Tu'udhūnanī Wa Qad Ta`lamūna 'Annī Rasūlu Allāhi 'Ilaykum Falammā Zāghū 'Azāgha Allāhu Qulūbahum Wa Allāhu Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Al-Fāsiqīna

And when Musa said to his people: O my people! why do you give me trouble? And you know indeed that I am Allah's apostle to you; but when they turned aside, Allah made their hearts turn aside, and Allah does not guide the transgressing people

Waith qala AAeesa ibnu maryama ya banee israeela innee rasoolu Allahi ilaykum musaddiqan lima bayna yadayya mina alttawrati wamubashshiran birasoolin yatee min baAAdee ismuhu ahmadu falamma jaahum bialbayyinati qaloo hatha sihrun mubeenun

Wa 'Idh Qāla `Īsá Abnu Maryama Yā Banī 'Isrā'īla 'Innī Rasūlu Allāhi 'Ilaykum Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayya Mina At-Tawrāati Wa Mubashirāan Birasūlin Ya'tī Min Ba`dī Asmuhu 'Aĥmadu Falammā Jā'ahum Bil-Bayyināti Qālū Hādhā Siĥrun Mubīnun

And when Isa son of Marium said: O children of Israel! surely I am the apostle of Allah to you, verifying that which is before me of the Taurat and giving the good news of an Apostle who will come after me, his name being Ahmad, but when he came to them with clear arguments they said: This is clear magic

Waman athlamu mimmani iftara AAala Allahi alkathiba wahuwa yudAAa ila alislami waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena

Wa Man 'Ažlamu Mimmani Aftará `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Wa Huwa Yud`á 'Ilá Al-'Islāmi Wa Allāhu Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna

And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah and he is invited to Islam, and Allah does not guide the unjust people

Yureedoona liyutfioo noora Allahi biafwahihim waAllahu mutimmu noorihi walaw kariha alkafiroona

Yurīdūna Liyuţfi'ū Nūra Allāhi Bi'afwāhihim Wa Allāhu Mutimmu Nūrihi Wa Law Kariha Al-Kāfirūna

They desire to put out the light of Allah with their mouths but Allah will perfect His light, though the unbelievers may be averse

Huwa allathee arsala rasoolahu bialhuda wadeeni alhaqqi liyuthhirahu AAala alddeeni kullihi walaw kariha almushrikoona

Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Arsala Rasūlahu Bil-Hudá Wa Dīni Al-Ĥaqqi Liyužhirahu `Alá Ad-Dīni Kullihi Wa Law Kariha Al-Mushrikūna

He it is Who sent His Apostle with the guidance and the true religion, that He may make it overcome the religions, all of them, though the polytheists may be averse

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo hal adullukum AAala tijaratin tunjeekum min AAathabin aleemin

Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āamanū Hal 'Adullukum `Alá Tijāratin Tunjīkum Min `Adhābin 'Alīmin

O you who believe! shall I lead you to a merchandise which may deliver you from a painful chastisement

Tuminoona biAllahi warasoolihi watujahidoona fee sabeeli Allahi biamwalikum waanfusikum thalikum khayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoona

Tu'uminūna Billāhi Wa Rasūlihi Wa Tujāhidūna Fī Sabīli Allāhi Bi'amwālikum Wa 'Anfusikum Dhālikum Khayrun Lakum 'In Kuntum Ta`lamūna

You shall believe in Allah and His Apostle, and struggle hard in Allah's way with your property and your lives; that is better for you, did you but know

Yaghfir lakum thunoobakum wayudkhilkum jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu wamasakina tayyibatan fee jannati AAadnin thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu

Yaghfir Lakum Dhunūbakum Wa Yudkhilkum Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Wa Masākina Ţayyibatan Fī Jannāti `Adnin Dhālika Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu

He will forgive you your faults and cause you to enter into gardens, beneath which rivers flow, and goodly dwellings in gardens of perpetuity; that is the mighty achievement

Waokhra tuhibboonaha nasrun mina Allahi wafathun qarreebun wabashshiri almumineena

Wa 'Ukhrá Tuĥibbūnahā Naşrun Mina Allāhi Wa Fatĥun Qarībun Wa Bashiri Al-Mu'uminīna

And yet another (blessing) that you love: help from Allah and a victory near at hand; and give good news to the believers

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo koonoo ansara Allahi kama qala AAeesa ibnu maryama lilhawariyyeena man ansaree ila Allahi qala alhawariyyoona nahnu ansaru Allahi faamanat taifatun min banee israeela wakafarat taifatun faayyadna allatheena amanoo AAala AAaduwwihim faasbahoo thahireena

Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āamanū Kūnw 'Anşāra Allāhi Kamā Qāla `Īsá Abnu Maryama Lilĥawārīyīna Man 'Anşārī 'Ilá Allāhi Qāla Al-Ĥawārīyūna Naĥnu 'Anşāru Allāhi Fa'āamanat Ţā'ifatun Min Banī 'Isrā'īla Wa Kafarat Ţā'ifatun Fa'ayyadnā Al-Ladhīna 'Āamanū `Alá `Adūwihim Fa'aşbaĥū Žāhirīna

O you who believe! be helpers (in the cause) of Allah, as~ Isa son of Marium said to (his) disciples: Who are my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the cause) of Allah. So a party of the children of Israel believed and another party disbelieved; then We aided those who believed against their enemy, and they became uppermost
